Role Overview: Are you a passionate gamer with a knack for fostering vibrant online communities? Do you love crafting engaging social media content and sparking conversations? Teuteuf Games is looking for a Community Moderator & Social Media Admin Intern to join our remote team and help us connect with our amazing player base!

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the gaming industry, work closely with a dedicated indie game studio, and make a real impact on our community engagement and social media presence.

Please note: This is a 3-month, part-time (approx. 20 hours/week) remote internship. At this time, compensation is not offered.

What You’ll Do

As our Community Moderator & Social Media Admin Intern, you’ll be at the forefront of our player interactions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Community Cultivation: Help shape our vibrant community, engage with players, and gather valuable insights across platforms like TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Reddit.
  • Content Strategy & Creation: Develop and implement a content strategy, ideate fun ways to keep the community engaged and active, and work with our art team to create engaging posts and stories. Also write and design our monthly newsletter which goes out to 60,000 subscribers.
  • Social Media Management: Use scheduling tools to plan our content calendar, reply to messages and comments, and engage with other accounts to create a sense of community.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of our social media activities.
  • Player Support: Support users by responding to questions and complaints, ensuring a positive player experience.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the game team(s), game designers, and game producers to relay community feedback and improve the game.
  • Partnership Exploration: Assist in finding collaboration partnerships to expand our reach.
  • Campaign Innovation: Run innovative social campaigns that capture the interest of your community and constantly drive both engagement rates and community size.
  • Outreach Efforts: Develop and expand community outreach efforts.

Who You Are

  • A Communication Pro: You have great communication skills, both in real life and on social platforms.
  • Content-Driven: You are passionate about the posts and stories you share on various social media platforms, always coming up with creative and engaging ideas.
  • Community-Minded: You have an understanding of social networking and what makes gamers tick.
  • Creative & Proactive: You are a self-starter with a natural inclination for creativity and identifying new opportunities.
  • Social Media Enthusiast: Social media and creating engagement are your passion.
  • Fluent in English: Excellent written and verbal English communication is essential. Other languages are a bonus!
  • A Gamer at Heart: A background in video games or being an avid gamer is a significant plus!
  • Team Player: You can collaborate easily and effectively with others in a remote environment.
  • Design-Aware: Proficiency with graphic design tools like Figma or Canva is a plus, and you have an eye for graphic design.
